Origin: Germany.

Aroma hops with slightly higher alpha acids than other Hallertau varieties, which makes it usable also in the first additions.

Spicy, floral and citrus aroma, smooth and balanced but long lasting.

Mainly used in German style beers, Munich pale and dark lagers, Oktoberfest, Bock, German wheat beers, Kolsch, Altbier and Pilsners.

Possible Substitutes: The main aromatic substitute would be Hallertau Mittelfruh.
